What are the working hours?
These will be set out in your offer letter. Hours of work may be varied, altered or extended as the nature of the job demands. You may be required to work reasonable additional or alternative hours to meet the needs of the business. Standard working hours for TalkTalk Business are 40hpw Monday – Friday unless otherwise stipulated in your contract.
What do I need to bring with me?
It’s really important that you bring with you all the documents requested in your offer letter e.g. Passport, P45 etc. This will help us to get you up and running quickly.
What is the Dress Code?
The Company requires that each employee be dressed in a manner appropriate to his or her employment. Business clothing is to be worn as appropriate for meetings. Business dress is required Monday – Thursday and we have ‘Dress Down’ on Fridays. For further details please contact our HR Department.

When will I receive my Contract?
You will receive written confirmation of your offer within 7 working days.
What time should I arrive & who should I report to on my first day?
When you get to Reception, ask for your Manager. Our normal start time is 9am, unless you have made alternative arrangements.
When will I get paid?
You will be paid 1/12th of your basic annual salary each calendar month, plus, if eligible, commission and overtime payments from the previous calendar month. All monies will be paid on the last working day of each month by direct transfer to your bank account. On or by the same date you will be sent an itemised pay statement showing how the gross pay is made up, how the pay has been calculated and any deductions made.
NB: If you are starting after 15th of the month you will be paid the following month retrospectively.

An employee handbook is provided to all members of staff via our online portal. This will be made available to you on your first day of employment with the Company. Once you have completed six months’ continuous service with the Company, and provided that you meet the criteria stipulated in the individual scheme rules, you will be eligible to join the Company’s benefit schemes, as indicated below:
Pension scheme
You will be eligible to join the Company's Group Personal Pension Plan. Details of this Pension will be provided to you on joining.
Private Healthcare
You will be eligible for membership of the Company’s private healthcare scheme, for which you will be required to make a small nominal contribution from your salary.
Group Income Protection
You will be eligible to join the scheme, which may be subject to a personal contribution. Further details will be provided on joining.
Life Insurance
Employees are eligible for life insurance from date of joining the Company. In the event of your death in service, a lump sum payment of three times your basic salary would be paid to your nominated beneficiaries.
Holiday Entitlement
The holiday year for the Company runs between 1st January and 31st December. You are entitled to 25 days' paid holiday during your first complete year of service (or a pro rata entitlement if you work part time or begin part way through a holiday year) in each holiday year together with the usual UK public holidays.
