On February 1st, Opal became TalkTalk Business. This is good news for us, our customers and their customers. We will be able to offer everyone more without sacrificing the specialist, business grade service we provide today. Customers will continue to benefit from our business grade products delivered with the same great service carried out from our UK based call centres for your convenience.

Becoming TalkTalk Business will bring many benefits for us, and most importantly our customers. Here are just four of the main areas our evolution will strengthen over time:

What do I need to do?

There are no actions for our customers and partners except if you pay by cheque. From 1st February, please make payments to TalkTalk Business. We will change Direct Debits automatically but please be aware the name on the statement will change to TalkTalk Business. Our bank accounts will not change so payments via BACS, Internet or CHAPS will continue as normal.

V-Networks

V-Networks will continue but the TalkTalk Business dual branding will change to TalkTalk Business.

  1. Why is the company changing its name?

    TalkTalk Group is a great success story, and we have been a part of it for years. It has 4 million customers on the UK’s biggest Next Generation Network. The brand is recognised for innovation and value in the market. We are proud of our association and want to show this. Working closer with TalkTalk will also have real benefits for our customers and staff. We will be able to offer more great products and services, and improve our processes and systems.

  2. Will my service change in any way?

    No. As a TalkTalk Business customer you will continue to have connection to the UK’s largest Next Generation Network, Award winning support and access to our extensive portfolio. Your email address will not change and your service will not be disrupted.

  3. Will prices change as a result of this?

    No. Pricing will not be affected by the rebrand.

  4. Will my UK based call centres or support numbers change?

    No. Contact numbers will remain the same and you will still be connected to UK based centres. Over time we will notify you of changes to our email addresses but currently these will stay the same.

  5. Will you still offer your wide range of services?

    Yes. We will still offer our full portfolio, including voice, mobile and a wide range of data services.

  6. Will there be any impact on the services you currently offer or will offer?

    No. We will continue our B2B growth strategy and the TalkTalk Business name will put us in a stronger position.

  7. Will my account details or bill change?

    The bill will be rebranded TalkTalk Business and the payment name will change to TalkTalk Business from 1st February. And don’t worry, we will change Direct Debits automatically but please be aware the name on the statement will change to TalkTalk Business. Our bank accounts will not change so payments via BACS, Internet or CHAPS will continue as normal.

  8. Is my existing contract with TalkTalk Business still valid?

    Yes. There is no change of legal entity nor will the legal entity change its name – we will simply be trading as TalkTalk Business. Your contracts do not change in any way.

  9. Do I need to do anything else?

    No. As a customer, everything will stay the same except the look of our correspondence to you.

  10. I still have more questions, who can I talk to?

    If you need to talk about this change please call your normal customer services number or your account manager.
