Having access to business grade broadband and other technologies is more important than working out of a prestigious address, according to a new survey.

TalkTalk Business also found that two-in-five (42 per cent) British firms expect they would suffer disruption from a lack of internet or data services, whilst nearly a third (31 per cent) believe faster connectivity would have a major impact on the company's performance.

TalkTalk Business's Charles Bligh notes that "this research points to the critical role IT and telecoms technology plays in maintaining business performance, which may come as a surprise to some companies and certainly underestimated by others".

To find out more about the direct impact technology has on delivering key business objectives, we've teamed with the Corporate IT Forum to produce an in-depth study on the topic, which is due to be published towards the end of Q3.
