Fujitsu has announced that it has been selected by the Post Office to design and deliver a solution that brings together a next-generation network (NGN) broadband experience combined with enhanced customer care and billing solutions.

Fujitsu has partnered with TalkTalk Group to deliver the NGN platform, with Capita for the customer contact centre and with MDS for consumer billing.

Duncan Tait, CEO at Fujitsu UK & Ireland, indicates that the company "is very excited to be involved in this project", whilst TalkTalk Group CEO Dido Harding notes that we "are delighted to be working with the Post Office and Fujitsu to provide next-generation broadband and telephony services in line with our long term strategy for leveraging the scale of our network and growing TalkTalk Business".

In this and many other instances, we chose to take the partnership route when the option of tendering directly was available, which shows our commitment to supporting our partners' success, helping them build long-term, sustainable businesses.

We help partners of all shapes and sizes provide a range of solutions, which direct businesses can also benefit from – since we entered the market, we've helped drive down the average price of office broadband from £40 to closer to the £10 mark.
