Wholesale Broadband & Partner Broadband for Resellers

Competitive advantage: with over 2,000 exchanges fully unbundled we give you access to 2.2 million businesses. No other operator in the UK can match this footprint.

Choice: choose between MPF (full metallic path facility) and SMPF (shared metallic path facility). MPF gives you exclusive use of the line for providing voice and broadband services, so you can win the voice and broadband revenues in one sale. SMPF only gives access to broadband, so, if your prospect is in contract with another operator for voice services, you can still pitch for the broadband business. We can also provide IPStream and DataStream in areas where exchanges have not yet been unbundled.

Speed: we’ll provide you with the best supporting broadband technologies, such as ADSL2+. Our broadband checker will enable you to tell your customers the maximum speed their line can deliver.

Business grade: our packages allow the prioritisation of broadband. You can also get Assured Rates guaranteeing up and downstream speeds (256kbps/512kbps/1Mbps), and Annex M will deliver upstream speeds of up to 2MB.

Price: one of the benefits of our NGN is operational efficiency and we pass these cost savings on to you making our pricing very competitive.

Flexible: our range of broadband packages mean you can develop your own propositions and add value with hardware, security, web hosting and other services that will drive increased revenue and margin per customer.

Class 5 services: we are the only NGN operator in the UK that can offer Class 5 services that replicate those from BT.

Retention: once a customer has migrated to an LLU network the cost of migrating back again is high and will be a deterrent to your customer shopping around for a better deal.

Easy provisioning: our portal means you can do everything online to order, manage and track broadband services. Check network availability, execute moves and changes, test for faults, access reports – everything is at your fingertips. If you want to use your own provisioning interface and execute bulk migrations, we can give you an XML interface – get in touch for further details. We can also provide details of a billing system manufacturer which has integrated our XML interface into their product.

Accurate billing: your billing records will be made available on a secure FTP site, including Daily CDRs (call data records) and FDRs (feature data records), Monthly DDRs (data detail records) showing data throughput and usage, allowing you to charge on any overage usage.

Monthly SDRs (service data records), showing connections, ceases, early terminations etc. and EDRs (event data records) including engineering visits and fault investigations are also available.

TalkTalk Business ADSL business broadband is part of our range of high speed ADSL solutions. To help ensure that other users will not affect the performance of your connection, you’ll get a traffic prioritisation service. All our connections offer the speed, reliability and technical support you would expect, and can be upgraded to meet your growing demands.

Ideal if...

  • You need fast internet and phone services.
  • You want to ensure that your monthly bill is for a predictable amount.
  • You have homeworkers who need a fast, secure internet connection.

Flexibility: your customers can enable rapid file transfer, run online business and software applications, video streaming, video conferencing, web or email server hosting.

Future-proof: as your customers move towards new ways of communicating, our next generation broadband is VoIP ready and supports interoperable standards like SIP trunking. This means that customers with compatible systems can use the extra bandwidth to create coherent inter-site networks.

High priority: with priority for business customers over other users, your customers will find that their emails, data transfers and web searches are sent first.

Business scenarios

On a legacy broadband contract?
Many businesses sign up for broadband then forget about it. Provided that it works most of the time and, if the occasional fault arises, it gets fixed reasonably quickly there may seem to be little reason to change.

However, research indicates that many businesses on legacy contracts are paying more than they need to for a slower service with a lower monthly usage than is available on a new contract.

Moving to Office Broadband can reduce your customers business broadband costs by up to 50%, they could more than double your download speed, and their monthly data allowance could exceed that of their old service by a factor of 10.

Based on ADSL2+ technology, this revolutionary service utilises our Next Generation Network (NGN) and is designed with organisations in mind. TalkTalk Business’s next generation broadband packages provide a non-contended service with uninterrupted performance at compelling wholesale prices.
