Markets Unlocked – TalkTalk Business joins the debate on a full fibre future

On Tuesday 10th November, Managing Director of TalkTalk Business Wholesale, Richard Thompson, joined a panel of experts at Markets Unlocked to discuss a full fibre future.

Held by Comms Dealer, Markets Unlocked is a virtual event described as a channel partners’ guide to unlocking the full fibre opportunity, and welcomed experts from TalkTalk Business, CityFibre, BT Wholesale, and Zen Internet.

Richard Thompson took part in a Fireside Session “How to win in the race to full fibre deployment". This session explored strategies to optimise the level and speed of take-up, the success and differentiation factors for resellers, target niches, and how fibre dovetails with the COVID-19 driven requirement for organisations to go digital, as we accelerate ever faster towards a new and permanent hybrid workplace environment that will ultimately be underpinned nationwide by FTTP.

Each industry expert had a fireside interview session followed by a Q&A opened up to attendees. After all sessions took place, additional experts joined for an event panel debate. Head of Partners Paul Smith joined Richard for TalkTalk Business where all experts delved deeper into the discussion covering the need for super-fast, super-resilient broadband since the battle with the Coronavirus pandemic.
