What is Hosted Voice?

Hosted Voice is a single, cloud based communication solution that works across employee’s mobile phones, desk phones and laptops/desktops.

It allows staff to communicate regardless of their location and brings together voice, chat, messaging, and team collaboration to allow employees to easily interact with colleagues, customers and partners. It also integrates with an organisation’s existing IT infrastructure such as Skype for Business.

As a cloud based system, there is no need for expensive on-site PBXs, it is fully resilient and secure.

Easy to manage
Hosted Voice has its own intuitive self-service online portal to manage users and provide call reporting. Each employee only needs a single sign on to login to their desk phones, mobile applications and desktop soft client.

There is a full and published SLA for the service including an 8 hour fix (excludes connectivity and customer on-premise equipment).


Hosted Voice is available on 1 or 3 year contracts.

Lead Times

Lead times vary depending on how complex getting your customer’s business connections up and running is. This can vary according to their broadband and transferring numbers from their current Service Provider.



Configuration and Management is via a self-service online portal.

Can customers keep existing numbers?

You can port numbers from other Service Providers where there is a porting agreement in place. If the existing service is already with TalkTalk Business then you can migrate these numbers to the Hosted Voice solution.

Why does the customer need to be registered with Royal Mail?

All Service Providers have a legal obligation to ensure that company address details are accurate as they are used by the Police, Fire and Ambulance services.

Are there different handset options?

Yes, you can choose any combination of handsets or softphone applications according to the requirements.
