What is MPLS IPVPN?

Using a choice of access technologies, our MPLS IPVPN connects numerous business sites to create a private, highly secure network. Its product options make it incredibly flexible and scalable making sure it can adapt to any changes in your business. All our services offer resilience, either with an additional line or a different product set depending on what you need.

Its features allow you to identify data and mark it as a priority between sites, ensuring great business performance, optimising the network and maintaining high service quality. You can also integrate an MPLS IPVPN into our Data Centre, taking the hassle of management and the costs off your hands.

There is also the option to choose a managed router or firewall with popular brands such as Cisco and Dell SonicWALL as well as our additional value added services from technical design to project management.

The Details

SLA's

The following SLA's apply:

  • Broadband
    • Standard care - 3 day fix.
    • Enhanced care - Next day fix.
  • Ethernet over Fibre (EoFTTC) - 7 hour fix.
  • Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) - 7 hour fix.
  • Ethernet Access Direct (EAD) - 4 hour fix.

The managed router and firewall come with a 4 hour fix once we identify that the fault lies with the equipment not the connectivity.

One of the key issues for us in moving over to TalkTalk Business was the need for a network with greater resilience. The solution we have now is more robust and stable than its predecessor, which in itself is a great reassurance. Beyond that though, TalkTalk Business are constantly monitoring the network so I have the added peace of mind. The fact that the whole process of migration was managed with minimal disruption - largely under the radar - was an added bonus too.
