MiCollab is a mobile-first designed communications and collaboration solution from Mitel, which integrates seamlessly with TalkTalk Business’ Hosted Voice platform*, providing a unified  communications service that can be used to communicate from their  desktop, office phone or mobile device.

Employees can download the app directly from the application store for Android, iOS, BlackBerry and Windows Phone, using the same login details as the laptop/desktop soft client.

It puts mobile at the heart of Hosted Voice, allowing employees to connect whether they are in the office, at home, or on the move. Mobility Bundle is required.

Recommended: Ethernet over Fibre is chosen for its speedy transfer of large data files as well as running simultaneous applications like SIP Trunks, video conferencing and real-time business applications.

Contract and Lead Times

Hosted Voice is available on 12 or 36 month contracts.

Lead times vary depending on how complex getting your connectivity up and running is, eg. broadband and transferring numbers from your current Service Provider may take a little longer.


Basic training is delivered as part of the customer deployment. Your project is fully managed from beginning to completion by your Project Co-Ordinator.  Customer configuration is managed using the self-service online portal.

Can I keep my existing numbers?

Yes, you can port your numbers from other Service Providers where there is a porting agreement in place. If your existing service is already with TalkTalk Business then you can migrate these numbers to the Hosted Voice solution.

Why does my company need to be registered with Royal Mail?

Yes, all Service Providers have a legal obligation to ensure that your company address details are accurate as it is used by the Police, Fire and Ambulance services.

Can I choose different handsets for different members of my business?

Yes, you can choose any combination of handsets or softphone applications to suit your business.

What is Category 5 cabling and why do I need it?

Category 5 cabling is the cabling used to create a computer data network within your office building. It’s also used by the Hosted Voice solution to transmit voice calls to and from your business.
